God cannot bless a man outside his word. In the Gospel of Luke 5, a story was told of how Jesus met Peter and his men to launch at the deep. Peter blatantly replied; “Master, we have toiled all the night; and have taken nothing nevertheless, at thy word I will let down the net”. (vs. 5)
Obviously, a professional fisher man knows the perfect time to hunt. Now the word came to him and said; “Simon, launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught”. However, Peter acted on the word and it produced for him. Scripture says; “when they had done this, they indeed in-closed a great multitude of fishes that their nets begin to break”.
God’s word cannot fail. His word cannot fall to the ground. It is the word that produces miracles. Are you sick, are you downhearted and depressed? Or maybe you are faced with one challenge or the other that can’t be voiced. Listen, you have got to act on the word that fits into that challenge and you shall certainly return with a testimony. Topic: HEARKEN UNTO HIS VOICE! # 3
To recognize God’s voice, ”First, you have to be born again. Then, be baptized in the Holy Ghost. Scripture says; “the kingdom of God is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost”. The voice of God is God’s word. God does not speak outside his word. He cannot contradict his word.
That is to say, any voice that comes to you that does not go in conformity with God’s word, be rest assured it is not God speaking. And above all, you have got to guide your heart because; out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. Beloved, when you hear his voice, harden not your heart! Many have received direction and escaped destruction by reason of obeying God’s voice. In same vein, many have become victims of destructions as a result of their willful disobedience. A good example was King Saul who lost his throne because he refused to hearken unto the voice of God that says; “Destroy all the Amalakites”. (Also Meditate on 1 Kings 13). When His Word comes, listen! And not only listen, hearken! Hearken means to heed to the Word, to do something about it, to let it really change you.Amen! It is a great blessing when people are willing to hearken unto the voice of God. Moses wrote, “And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.” (Deuteronomy 28:1-2) Blessings will come upon us and overtake us if we obey the laws and teachings of the Lord our God.

Prayer: My father, my maker, I receive the blessings of hearkening to your voice in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

Topic: HEARKEN UNTO HIS VOICE!
Remember what it says: “Today when you hear his voice, don’t harden your hearts as Israel did when they rebelled.” (Hebrews 3:15)
Paul the inspired writer penned this epistle to admonish the Hebrews at that time on the consequences of not heeding to God’s voice. It occurred shortly after the Israelites had come through the Red Sea and had journeyed only a week or two into the wilderness beyond. They came to a place where there was no water, and they all became thirsty. They had barely had time to become very thirsty when the leaders of the people came to Moses and began to complain. What are you doing? Leading us out into this wilderness to perish? Where is this God that is supposed to be taking care of us? Why hasn’t He provided water for us? They demanded that God prove Himself again. Scripture says; “They rebelled against the leadership of Moses”. (Numbers 16)
Nevertheless, the inspired writer wrote this to admonish us; “Today if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts.” There are many voices in the world but, none is without significance. The voice of God is the voice of direction and path way to greatness. The writer of Proverbs expresses this reality; “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil” Proverbs 3:5-7. Stay tuned for more on this topic.

Topic: ENGAGE YOUR HANDS!
The inspired writer of Proverbs wrote something very striking and remarkable; “Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise! It has no commander, no overseer or ruler, yet it stores its provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest”. (Prov 6:6-8)
A careful study of the ways of the ants is enough to banish laziness, slothfulness and indolence from the life of a man. Observe, the ants do not have supervisor, a commander, an overseer and a ruler yet they engage the principle of diligence. Scripture says; “it stores its provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest”. Isn’t this amazing?
Proverbs 21:5 tells us; “The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance, but everyone who is hasty comes to poverty”. The colonies of the ants are often described as super organisms because the ants appear to operate as a unified entity, collectively working together to support the colony.
However, this should be the mindset of every Believer, where everyone works diligently to support one another and the gospel. Looking at the ants colonies, as small as they are, they have systematized and a well-structured association. They are been organized into group of soldiers and workers, and even the queen that apparently stays idle puts her full concentration on the production of further ants. To be continued…..

Topic: THE INHERENT POWER!
The Bible tells us; “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to HIS POWER that is at work within us”. Ephesians 3:20
Acts 1:8 says; “But you will receive POWER when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
The inherent power is that power which is inborn or inbuilt. That is to say, it exists within even though you don’t see with your physical eyes. As Believers, the Holy Ghost dwells inside of us. It was this point the inspired writer wrote; “But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the SPIRIT WHO LIVES IN YOU is greater than the spirit who lives in the world”.
The Power from on High has already come upon the Church. We don’t pray for the power to come down no more. Remember, we are the Church; the building is just a place or point we meet to edify one another. We are carrier of His Divine Presence.The day of Pentecost reveals this; “And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it SAT upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the spirit gave them utterance”. Acts 1:1-3. Please stay tuned for more on this topic.
